1. Purpose of the service
Grievesk Bend is a free technical and informational tool that provides indicative calculations related to sheet metal bending, including K-factor, flat pattern development, internal radii, suggested V-die openings and bending-force references.
2. Nature of the results
Results may be based on geometric formulas, empirical rules or data selected by the user. They are not a certification or guarantee of accuracy and do not replace validated production software, tool manufacturer specifications, workplace procedures or workshop checks. Some models may be preliminary and may be updated over time.
3. Verification and safety
The user is responsible for checking results against the actual material, selected tensile strength, thickness, bending method, installed tooling and press/tooling load limits. Appropriate checks and test pieces should be used before series production. Do not base safety-critical decisions solely on this website's results.
4. Availability and updates
The service is provided free of charge and may be changed, suspended or discontinued. The operator may correct formulas, interface elements or content without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every device or configuration.
5. Intellectual property and permitted use
Original project text, graphics and code are protected by applicable laws. The tool may be used for lawful purposes; attempts to compromise the service or use it unlawfully are prohibited. Third-party trademarks and product names remain the property of their respective owners; their mention does not imply endorsement or affiliation.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is”, without express or implied warranties as to completeness or suitability for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or affects mandatory consumer rights.
